P2 Visa:
- Must be in government recognized exchange program.
- There are 5 organizations buts if it is outside of the main 5, it will be subject for review.
- Needs USCIS, US immigration services needs approval of a petition or application.

- Actor’s Equity Association (U.S.) and the Canadian Actors’ Equity Association.
- The International Council of AirShows and the Canadian Air Show Association.
- The Alliance of Canadian Cinema Television and Radio Artists (ACTRA) and the Screen Actor Guild – American Federation of Television and Radio Artists (SAG-AFTRA).
- If there is a regulatory body outside of these then the USCIS then a review will happen to see its legitimacy.
- You can bring your family, but they are unable to work.
- Can only be in the United States for 1 year.
P3 Visa:
A P-3 visa is for people or groups who want to come to the United States to do something special related to their culture or art. This could include performing, teaching, or representing unique or traditional music, dance, theater, or other arts.
- 1 year limit to stay in the United States.
- Spouses & Children under 21 can obtain a P4 visa.
P1BA Visa:
For those coming to the US to temporarily perform as a member of an entertainment group.
- You have to have at least 1 year of international recognition in the discipline with a history of working in the field.
- 75% of the group must have stayed within the group for 1+ years.
P1A Visa:
If you’re coming to the US solely for an athletic competition.
- Can be an international athlete or part or a team performance or coach.
- Can be professional or amateur.
- You will need to have evidence that you are recognised for this.
- Can bring spouse or unmarried children under 21- can attend schools.
O Visa:
This is for individuals with extraordinary ability in science, art, education, business or athletes – with a strong history of achievements nationally or internationally.
O1A: Ability in science, education, business or athletics.
O1B: Actors or people in the movie or TV industry.
O2: Individuals who assist in specific events or performances.
O3: Spouses
