Founder & Principal Lawyer - Immigration Law Lawyer
Ljusi Brace
Lusi Brace is the CEO, founder, and principal lawyer at Brace Law, with offices in Oakville and Vaughan and serving the whole of Ontario. She earned her LLB from Queen Mary University of London in the United Kingdom, and she is a distinguished member of the legal community. Her law firm practices Criminal Law, Canadian Immigration, Canada- US Investor Immigration, Sports & Entertainment Immigration, Family Law, Real Estate Law, Civil Litigation, and Wills & POAs.
Ms. Brace has a proven track record of success in litigation, having achieved numerous victories in judicial reviews in the Federal Court and winning several significant cases in the Ontario Superior Court of Justice and Ontario Court of Justice. Apart from her litigation experience, her expertise extends to immigration law, where she specializes in Immigration Labour Market Impact Assessments (LMIA), judicial reviews, Permanent Residency (PR) applications, as well as handling sport/entertainment immigration cases and US-Canada investor immigration matters.
Her dedication and excellence in her field have been recognized by media outlets, including CTV, where she was interviewed for her involvement in a high-profile case. Ms. Brace’s commitment to justice extends beyond her legal practice; she is a fervent advocate for access to justice and actively works to ensure that everyone, regardless of their circumstances, has a voice in the legal system.
Ms. Brace is a member in good standing with the Law Society of Upper Canada and holds memberships in prestigious legal associations, including the Criminal Lawyers’ Association and the Toronto Lawyers Association. Additionally, she is the co-founder and Director of Communications of the Albanian Canadian Lawyers Association.
Before establishing Brace Law, Ms. Brace honed her skills working alongside senior counsels in downtown Toronto and gained valuable experience practicing throughout the Greater Toronto Area. Sandra Assaads
Sandra was called to the Bar in 2019 and is a member in good standing with the Law Society of Upper Canada. She received her LL.B from the University of Liverpool in England.
Since getting called to the Bar, Sandra has been practicing family and civil litigation, but her primary focus has been on family law. Sandra has extensive experience in all areas of family law, including, divorce, decision-making responsibility, parenting time, child support, spousal support, property division and domestic contracts.
Sandra regularly represents clients before the Ontario Court of Justice and Superior Court of Justice.
Her goal is to minimize conflict and distress that often accompanies these life-changing issues. She is client-focused and dedicated to achieving the best outcome for her clients through negotiated settlements or litigation.
Sandra is passionate about her work and approaches each matter with a high level of compassion and professionalism.
She can communicate with her clients in Arabic and French.
Outside of the office, Sandra volunteers at various organizations that support those in vulnerable circumstances. She also enjoys going to dance classes and spending time with friends and family.

Vaishali Wason
She was called to the Bar in 2024 and is a member in good standing with the Law Society of Ontario.
Vaishali has obtained a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science, Sociology and Canadian Studies from the University of Toronto in 2019, sparking her interest in law. Pursuing this passion, she attended the University of Leicester in England and earned her Bachelor of Laws in 2021.
Starting her journey at Brace Law in Legal Administration, Vaishali swiftly transitioned into the role of a Law Clerk specializing in Real Estate Law and Civil Litigation. Her dedication ensures clients’ satisfaction with their residential and commercial needs. Additionally, with a keen interest in Litigation, she is knowledgeable of the rules and procedures surrounding civil disputes, such as contracts, negligence, defamation, fraud and misrepresentation.
The pivotal stage of Articling at Brace Law provided Vaishali with a platform to translate theoretical knowledge into practice under the guidance of legal professionals at our firm. This transformative period ultimately led to her admission to the Ontario Bar.
Vaishali maintains the utmost standards of professionalism and integrity. She passionately advocates for her clients and her understanding of the law and dedication to justice render her an invaluable asset to our firm.

Farheen Navas
Farheen is a dedicated immigration clerk committed to facilitating a seamless immigration process for individuals and families.
Farheen completed her Law Clerk program at Centennial in 2021. She has gained valuable experience working on small claims matters, LTB, insurance subrogation, and immigration matters. Farheen is also an active member of community services such as the Heart and Stroke Foundation.
With years of experience in the immigration field, Farheen possesses a comprehensive understanding of immigration laws and regulations. She has a proven track record of handling various immigration matters, including visitor visas, Temporary Resident Permits, study permits, work permits, sponsorships, economic immigration programs, PR cards, and PRTD applications. Farheen remains committed to staying abreast of the latest developments in immigration policies to provide clients with accurate guidelines.
Farheen approaches each case with honesty, fairness, and respect for confidentiality. She understands that the immigration process can be daunting, and thus prioritizes providing personalized assistance at every stage. Whether it involves clarifying application requirements, assisting with document preparation, or addressing concerns, Farheen emphasizes open communication and attentive support to ensure a positive experience for each client.

Regulated Canadian Immigration Consultant
Sanyog Singh
Sanyog Singh is a Regulated Canadian Immigration Consultant at Brace Law. Sanyog obtained an Honours Bachelors in Sciences from the University of Toronto in 2020. Since then he has followed his interests and pursued law. Sanyog completed the Immigration Practitioner Diploma and obtained the Regulated Canadian Immigration Consultant license in 2021 while attending the University of Leicester in England. Graduating with a Bachelors of Law in 2022, Sanyog is obtaining Certification of Qualification by the National Committee on Accreditation.
Sanyog has prior experience in Canadian Immigration Law dealing with Study permits, Spousal sponsorships, Sponsorship appeals, Temporary Resident Permits, Visitor Visas, Pre-Removal Risk Assessment, Labour Market Impact Assessment and Work permits.
Sanyog is passionate about his work and approaches each matter with a high level of consideration and professionalism. Sanyog excels in helping guide clients through every step.
He can communicate in English, Hindi, Punjabi and Urdu. In his spare time Sanyog enjoys photography, meditating and spending time with loved ones.

Family Law Clerk - Student At Law
Simren
She obtained her LL.B from the University of Birmingham, United Kingdom. She has obtained her Certification of Qualification by the National Committee on Accreditation. She then completed the Law Practice Program (LPP) through Ryerson University. Further, she is currently a Lawyer Licensing Candidate with the Law Society of Ontario. Prior to law school, Simren attended the University of Toronto to obtain her (Honours) Bachelor of Arts, with a double major in Political Science and Socio-Legal Studies/Criminology, and a minor in Sociology.
Simren has prior work experience in Family Law and Immigration Law. She is passionate about helping clients with their difficult Family Law matters.
Outside of work, Simren enjoys traveling, running, reading and spending time with her family and friends.

Valeriia Olefirenko
Valeriia Olefirenko obtained her Office Administration – Legal diploma from Centennial College in 2023.
Valeriia has been studying Law since a young age and continues to do so. The most interesting and enjoyable part of working in the legal field for Valeriia is helping clients with their inquiries and requests.
Valeriia is especially interested in Real Estate Law. She is dedicated and organized to completing clients’ requests in a timely and efficient manner.
Outside of work, Valeriia enjoys traveling, studying, baking, cooking, and spending time with her family and friends.
Valeriia can speak with clients in English and Russian.

Executive Assistant
Nahal Noor
Nahal is the Executive Assistant at Brace Law.
She holds a Bachelor of Arts with Honors in Political Science from York University, where she also served as the student speaker for her graduating class, showcasing her leadership skills and commitment to her academic community.
Before her venture into the legal field, Nahal gained valuable experience in public relations and marketing. She has worked with companies such as Subway, Kimberly-Clark, and YMCA Canada. She played an important role in the development of several PR campaigns, including “Subwaaaaay Better,” “Huggies First Box,” and “YMCA Mental Health Awareness” campaigns.
Nahal is the co-founder of ChaiChat, a women-owned non-profit startup designed to help young minority women network in their respective careers through social events and fundraisers. The organization specifically targets issues that young minority women face in the ever-changing workforce. As a representative of her organization, she has been a judge of several youth-based fashion shows, promoting diversity in the fashion industry.
Her varied experiences offer a unique perspective and enhance her capabilities in handling legal matters. Her academic success and prior leadership roles also suggest a dedication to excellence. She works to pursue her interest in the legal field with an emphasis on Criminal law, Immigration law, and Civil litigation. She specialized in economic class immigration applications, optimizing comprehensive documentation, responsible for processing and managing invoices while simultaneously handling client relations effectively.
Outside of work, Nahal likes to volunteer her time feeding the homeless with faith-based charities in Hamilton and Toronto. She’s a cat enthusiast, loves a good laugh, and spends time cultivating relationships with family and friends.
Nahal can speak English, Urdu, Punjabi, and Hindi.

Paralegal
Nancy Lenguyen
Nancy has been working closely with the immigration department at Brace Law for some time. She has assisted individuals and families with their immigration needs and the rules and regulations involved in immigrating from Vietnam to Canada.
She has offered guidance on various immigration matters, such as temporary residence applications, residency permits, and citizenship processes. Nancy has helped clients complete and submit immigration applications and documents. This includes ensuring that all forms are filled out correctly and that the necessary supporting documents are included.
Nancy has also assisted in representing clients in communications with immigration authorities where she has attended interviews, and/or dealt with queries on behalf of the client.
She has also provided language assistance or translation services to Vietnamese clients. Nancy is well known in her community as she has also helped a lot of clients settle in Canada, offering advice on housing, employment, and integration in the Vietnamese community.

Behnaz Sedaghati recently joined our team, with previous experience in sales, marketing, and financial sectors, Behnaz has an ideal foundation for her work as an immigration advisor.
